Steven A. Smith FNP-BC
During his service in the United States Army, Steven served overseas in Afghanistan as a Combat Infantryman in OEF4. Following his return to New York, he became an officer with the New York City Police Department. After a number of years, he transferred to the New York City Fire Department, where he retired as a Lieutenant. During his time with the FDNY, Steven attended nursing school earning his Bachelors and becoming a licensed RN working in various medical settings. Steven went on to further his education by earning a Master's degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Wagner College and passing his National Board Certification through the ANCC.
As a Professional Nurse Practitioner, Steven has worked in a variety of practice settings. With Experience from Complex care to Advanced Disease Management, ED Treatment, Weight Loss Management and Testosterone Replacement Therapy to name a few. Approaching every patient with a Holistic View to plan treatment that not only addresses an immediate need, but also attempts to address the root cause if possible.
